"Déjà vu," pronounced day-zhaa voo, is French for "already seen." It is the engrossing and peculiar experience when you feel that something is very familiar, but you also realize that this feeling shouldn't be as strong as it is. For example, seeing over-sized satin suits might give you the impression that you might've see it before. Of course you might've seen something similar *cough cough ⁠— CREEP*, but the feeling of nostalgia is so strong and so connected that you may just remember a glimpse and realize that in fact, you haven't seen or experienced it like this before.

Déjà vu experiences are also described as making you feel like you have seen the future. In The Retell Closet's case, you have. For this collection, we have been inspired by the vibes in the nineties and have recreated, or retold it, and modernizing it. If you know fashion, you know that trends are cyclical.
